Early Treatment

early_treatmentThe American Association of Orthodontists recommends that every child visit an orthodontist no later than age 7. Although interceptive orthodontic treatment is not always indicated, careful observation can establish the best time for orthodontic care.

Interceptive treatment presents the opportunity to:

  • Develop more space for crowded teeth
  • Influence jaw growth
  • Create facial balance
  • Prevent trauma to protruding front teeth
  • Improve the self-image of your child

Even if immediate treatment is not needed, a timely screening can help parents and patients get to know Dr. Little and his team and provide detailed information on what may be needed in the future.
